Circuit mode ISDN at 64 kbps is particularly suited to sending larges files (> 150 kb) and for applications requiring wide bandwidth (billed per connection time) such as accessing the corporate network, audio video streaming, videoconferencing etc.
Packet mode MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Service) is perfect for always-on connections, internet browsing & emailing, as only the actual volume of data exchanged is billable, regard-less of connection time.

The Messenger is your best choice for a truly portable high-speed data terminal. It is a unique tool for fast worldwide communication.
The terminal has the following interfaces: Euro ISDN, USB, two RJ11 jacks for fax and phone, standard RS 232 interface, PCMCIA interface and audio ports for headphones and tape input.
The 64 kbps bandwidth of the Messenger and the Euro ISDN interface makes it possible to browse on the Internet, connect to your Local or Wide Area Network, transmit real time and store and forward video conferencing, send pictures and broadcast quality voice.
All of this is made possible by plug and play applications, which are easily connected to the Messenger.
It will also be possible to use the Inmarsat MPDS service. When using this service you will be charged per transmitted Mbit and not per minute. This means flexibility, choice, and cost savings.
The Messenger is housed in a magnesium case, making it ideal for rugged outdoor use. The antenna is easy to unfold and deploy and can be positioned up to 200 metres away from the main unit.
The unit is delivered to you in a lightweight and sturdy bag with separate rooms for cables, batteries, and other accessories.
